Howlite

Howlite is a lovely stone to use when needing to reduce anxiety, tension and stress.  It helps one to be calm in their daily lives. It lessens one’s tendency towards selfishness, rudeness or boisterous behavior, replacing those behaviors with a calmer more balanced attitude that is more tolerant and patient.  

Howlite assists in formulating ambitions and aids in achieving them.  Howlite strengthens memory and stimulates desire for knowledge.  It teaches patience and helps to eliminate rage and pain.  It helps to calm communication, facilitates awareness and encourages emotional expression.  

Howlite reminds us of the power we hold and urges us to use, channel, and harness this energy towards individual self-healing.  A trait not often spoken about is Howlite’s ability to fully help one cope and heal from trauma, grief, mourning, PTSD, anxiety and depression. Aside from bringing one's inner strength to the forefront during this time, it also helps one slowly rebuild their emotional body.
